What is this, should I be worried

This may be a bit TMI so I apologise in advance.

I'm 31+5 with baby #4 and the last 2 times me and DP have had sex (last was at 30 weeks) it's been fine up until the point we have finished and then I'm in intense pain, full on contraction type pains that radiate in to my back with a feeling of pressure in my bum. The pains will last anything up to a couple of hours then die off like nothing's happened. Little man still moves plenty during the pains so I'm not overly worried about him but what the hell is going on, I've never experienced anything like that in my last 3 pregnancies so it's really thrown me, poor DP is too scared to come anywhere near me now lol.

Is it normal or something that needs to be checked out x

Hi, it sounds like your orgasm is triggering off Braxton Hicks contractions. They can be painful, but if you're really concerned, give your midwife a call to put your mind at ease.

Orgasm triggered cramping in me. It was so painful towards the end it just wasn't worth it. Absolutely speak to your midwife for reassurance though.
