Has anyone here been diagnosed with icp? Are you being induced due to it? If you're diagnosed at 38 weeks is it usually recommended that you have an induction?

I was induced at 37 weeks due to cholestasis with DS2
Not sure if that's the normal practice in the UK

@beautifulmonument were your bile salts very high or was it just policy where you are that diagnoses = induction at term?

Yes I think so. As soon as I was diagnosed they said they would induce me at 37 weeks. No discussion of severity

I was induced with dc1. Pregnant with dc2 and being monitored to see if I develop it again. The UK charity icp support has excellent resources based on the latest research and a close FB group if you have questions.
