Hi ladies it's weekend so no gp is available right now I've been getting these sharp cramping pains on my stomach could be stretching pains or UTI can I still go triage for this or is it only serious things ?

You'd be better off going to an urgent care walk in centre realistically. They have them in most towns and cities. I'm on maternity ward at the moment and came in through triage with blood clot and it was more serious stuff in the triage from what I could tell of the other patients.

Can you call 111 and ask for an out of hours appointment or go to a walk in centre? UTI's are GP issues I believe ( I had 4 in my previous pregnancy!)

I had this and used 111 to get an out of hours GP appointment - id say that's your best bet. Mine turned out to be just stretching but could also be a UTI.

How pregnant are you?

Can you ring your chemist as they test for uti's so it will save you going to hospital..

I'm 30weeks and I called them and they said yea I can come In the hospital now getting checked the lady said you can come in about anything as long as it's worrying me so that's great update test was all clear so I guess it was stretching pains

Yeh 30 weeks and cramping is 100% one for maternity triage. Glad everything seems ok.
