Hi! I post about my weight when i first got pregnant so sorry if you're sick of seeing me... basically..

I started off obese (16 stone 10 at 5 ft 7.5) when i got pregnant and was sooo worried that I was going to end up gaining about 3 stone as I've only even heard weight gain horror stories when people get pregnant... anyway.. i had quite bad queeziness for first 3 months and went down to 15 stone 13... started eating normally again... and snacking too on choc etc.... weighed myself at 20 weeks and was back at 16.10lb ... now I'm 23 weeks and at 16.6lb again (always weigh in morning before food naked!) .. is this normal.. and healthy????

Am I likely to suddenly gain 2 stone in the last part of pregnancy if i keep eating the same ... how does this all work? Lol xx

I gained 10lbs during pregnancy one (42 weeks long!) and 12lbs in pregnancy two at a similar weight to you OP. Babies were both healthy and I was back to my usual weight within a week of delivery - it was all baby and water.

I think in my case I was just conscious of not eating my way to a four stone gain I'd have to lose later, but I certainly didn't diet or restrict my food.

Im definitely conscious about not gaining loads.. but at same time i feel im earing quite normal(for me)... eg toast with peanut butter and banana then apple... yoghurt, sandwich, stew, another yoghurt!!!
.. cake!!! Lol

I'm quite happy to not gain any with being obese but just hoping everything is ok.. and also am i being a bit smug too soon ... will it pile on eventually or do you think im past the 'danger zone' of putting on 2 stone +

The weight of pregnancy will increase as in size of baby, and fluid etc. But your general weight only goes up by your food intake.
