High blood pressure early pregnancy

I went to the gp this evening to confirm pregnancy. He did and then took my bp which was extremely high 145/110. I have chronic kidney disease so blood pressure effects that massively. On my last baby I was admitted at 37 weeks with high bp and delivered him 4 days later. My blood pressure has never returned to normal since his birth. I had a MMC in august of this year and the hospital put me on high blood pressure medication, can't help but think that it played a part in the miscarriage. Anyway just wondering if anyone has experience on taking meds this early on in pregnancy and all turning out okay? I'm very worried for the next 9 months and health of the baby
