I’m 18+5 and for the last few days I’ve been going for a number 2 more than usual. Not in a worrying way I’m just less constipated than I was. After going I’ve found that my lower belly has a weird stretching/pulling pain for same time after. I’m just checking it’s normal or anyone else has experienced it. This is my third baby and I can’t remember the weird little aches pains from my other two, but the feeling doesn’t seem completely alien to me so maybe I had it with them and I’ve forgot.

I have no other symptoms that I’m questioning. Just this bit of discomfort.

Thank you!

At the start of my pregnancy my bowels where loose to but am more consitaped now at 24wks. Its supposedly normal as your bowel relaxes and loosens due to horomones but if you have concerns talk to your midwife or gp as with these things you can never be sure about. If in doubt always check it out is what the hospital tell me reapeatdly. And nothing is TMI to your midwife theyve seen and heard it all so dont worry about that. I hope all goes well for you and you find a soloution. X
