Just recently got my BFP following a CP in September. Feeling very blessed and very nervous in case we have a repeat of last time! Looking for baby buddies to talk to and obsessively symptom check with 😂 Feel free to join x

I just found out this morning. Due July 12th. We have a two-year-old already. Currently still in shock at finding myself pregnant again. Probably a protection mechanism. I'm 43. Gotta be realistic.

Congratulations on your BFP :)

Hello ladies, Congrats!
I found out on Saturday and my due date is around 9 July 2021 - excited but also scared and anxious - my first pregnancy went really well but now I'm 38 and worried that something will go wrong.
Booked myself for a viability scan in three weeks and will try to stay positive until then!

Me! I'm due 11th July, first pregnancy after 5 months of trying. Just had a phone convo with a GP and in my area I need to self refer for midwife services. Feel like the GP call was a bit useless really, nothing was mentioned that I didn't already know. Definitely going to get an earlier private scan but just not sure how early as I don't want to not see anything. Feeling absolutely fine at the moment, slightly bloated and more tired I guess but that's it. Trying not to be tooooo happy as its very early days! How are you all feeling?

ZoeRoma · 02/11/2020 12:45

Congratulations @Marushka82 and @Luckyelephant1

Physically I'm feeling absolutely fine. My first pregnancy was pretty easy though, apart from really swollen feet in the last couple of months. Hopefully it will be the same this time round, if it sticks!

@ZoeRoma congratulations! hope everything goes well and you have a healthy pregnancy ☺️ I have a 14 month old DD, so definitely going to have my hands full!

@Marushka82 congratulations and hope everything goes to plan for you! Let us know how the early scan goes! My first pregnancy wasn't the best, I had a lot of problems but baby was always healthy so I can't really complain!

@Luckyelephant1 congratulations! I think the protocol is different depending where you live, my GP don't want to know until you've sent in a urine sample and it comes back positive. Then last time the midwife got in touch with me to make a booking in appointment. Sent my sample in today so just got to wait to hear back now and hope everything's ok! I had an emergency scan at 7 weeks last pregnancy and there wasn't much to see them to be honest, just a little blob on the screen, but obviously it was just a matter of getting me in and out so the next lady could have her turn. I'd imagine a private one would be nice and you can take your time and have a proper look. You'll have to let us know if you end up going! It's so so hard not to get your hopes up isn't it? I've had cramping and a tingly let down sensation in my boobs, also been quite tired and very emotional!

@Luckyelephant1 I think the viability scan can be done around 6-7weeks though they recommend waiting until 7th week to get better results. Around where I live (Cambs) it’s £95 so a relatively small price to pay for a piece of mind. I’m also going to do a Harmony test later (in the first pregnancy I waited until 16 weeks to hear back from the hospital about the results of the Down syndrome etc test - they had it but forgot to call me!
I’m feeling ok, just really wiped (went for my usual walk this morning and was moving super slow!) and my boobs are very sore and heavy (which was my first clue something was up!)

Are you going to do extra scans etc?

ZoeRoma · 02/11/2020 13:20

Thanks @meganm94

I'm pleased that they'll be fairly close in age but scared about how much work it will be!

Ciarann · 04/11/2020 22:23

Hey guys, I just got a positive (fairly light line) last night but I just knew I was pregnant. I’m 3+4. Having a good bit of cramping mainly on my left side when I’m sitting down but moving into the middle now too. I have 2 boys and have had 1MC.
Really worried about all the cramping but everything seems to indicate it’s normal, and I only feel it when I’m sitting relaxing so it’s not severe in any way. Is anyone else feeling this? I don’t really have any other symptoms yet apart from being quite emotional!
Congrats to everyone exciting times ahead! 🤞
