Just that really. I am 12 weeks and have spotting. At the moment I've just been advised to keep and eye on it but I am very anxious.

I won't divulge in my personal experience. I have been told in the past that spotting at 4, 8, 12 weeks basically around the time you would have had your period can happen.
Once you pass 12 weeks the chances of losing a baby are less than 1%
I would phone gp tomorrow and would asked to be checked out as you are anxious. Those anxieties can play havoc with your mentality

I have a friend who had full periods until she was 5 months. She did not realise she was pregnant until baby kicked her. A few spots are pretty normal for many woman. Just avoid heavy lifting and don't overdo it.

I had a bleed at 11+3, was beside myself with worry due to previous lose. No pain but went to epu who didn’t scan but check cervix. I had dating scan the following week and everything was fine, they couldn’t see any evidence of blood on the scan either. Have had couple more bleeds up until17 weeks. Tended to be when I needed the toilet/straining so they though either cervix or low laying placenta. Try not to worry too much (easier said than done obvs!) just keep an eye on it x

I had a big bleed at 11 weeks, had to wait 2 days for a scan which was terrifying, baby was good at the epu scan and then my 12 week scan, no reason for bleeding found. I then bled again at 12+4 and 14+4 and they found a hematoma which they put the bleeding down to. I'm now 17 weeks and all was looking good at my gender scan on Friday, they couldn't see the hematoma either so hopefully that has gone. So in my case bleeding (and the first one was very heavy- soaking through to bedsheets) doesn't automatically equal bad news. Good luck, sending love and a hand hold, I know hownscary it is.

I had a bleed (quite a gush!) followed by a week of spotting at 12-13 weeks. I had a scan and there was a good heartbeat and no obvious reason for the bleed.
I am now 28 weeks pregnant and my scans are fine.
Good luck x

Yes - and I’m due any day now. It was a horribly worrying few days, so I sympathise. After a bit of Googling (and once I was safely the other side) I put it down to the transition to the placenta, as hormone levels can fluctuate at that point. Good luck OP.
