Hi all! Almost 25 weeks pregnant with my first baby and being continuously woken up several nights a week by strong period type cramps (could be round ligament pain) where my ovary would be on my left side only.

The pain lasts for hours and isn't triggered by movement. I mostly only ever get this pain when asleep.

I sleep on my left side all night so I'm not sure if it's pressure related but if I turn to my right side it feels the same as my left side and starts to hurt.

I have called the midwife about it and she doesn't seem concerned.

This pain is like a stabbing, throbbing dull ache that lasts for hours!!! Help!
