Just wondering if any Irish ladies are on here?

When are you due and what are you expecting the situation to be like with regard your partner being allowed in. Is it expected to ease up any time soon in terms of partner and scans labour etc. I've just found out I'm pregnant today and not too familiar with what the plan is going forward with this etc just wondering if any ladies want to share any thoughts or feelings

I'm due in December, and I don't think restrictions will ease up by that time. Right now partners are only allowed for 20 weeks scan and for active labour.

The Rotunda is very relaxed.

I’ll be giving birth in Sligo in March and the restrictions are very tight. No partners allowed at any scans.
It was the case that they couldn’t come in until you were 4cms dilated, that changed before the current lockdown restrictions to allow them to be there whenever you come in. I’m not sure if they reverted.
And visiting, I think is one hour a day. Oh and they have to leave the labour ward as soon as you are moved to post natal ward.
