6 weeks pregnant 2 sacs 1 heart beat.

Hey I had my early scan they found 1 heart beat and dated it 6w0d a second sac was seen with a fetal pole and yolk sack but no heart beat. Iv been asked to go back in 2 weeks to assess the viability of 2nd sack. I’m absolutely petrified. Has anyone had this what is ur out come ?
She said it could be a few days behind the other or it could stopped developing! Normally at this stage is an empty sack but it’s not empty . Help 2 weeks is so long :(

Not exactly the same situation but an early scan at 5 weeks & 5 days after a bleed, 2 sacs but no heartbeats. 1 slightly smaller than the other. Told to just wait for 2 weeks.

Went back at 7 weeks and 5 days, 2 heart beats detected.

Went on to have healthy twins. Good luck that wait is agony x

Oh wow Iv read that babies can be a few days behind the other. It wasn’t an empty sack fetal pole was detected just no heart beat but measuring at 5 weeks 2mm so maybe it was just behind the other one . I am scared I don’t think I can cope with twins ;( I miscarried 4 babies in 2020 so will be a blessing but I don’t think I can cope

Oh OP, its really hard, so hard to stop yourself running through every eventuality. All you can do it wait, it won't help getting nervous or agitated. Easier said than done I know but try your best to relax xx
