The past 3 or 4 days I have been getting some clear watery discharge that come out suddenly and i feel wet. My panties and my parts (sorry tmi) are soaked in the middle and i have to wipe myself and change it's so wet.
I didn't think anything of it as i read discharge increases but it happened as i was sleeping last night and i started freaking out thinking it might be fluid leaking?!

How do i know? Is it even a thing to leak fluid so early?

I am going to my midwife today for 16w appt. I will also ask her... just wanted other people's experiences.

Thank you!!!

Talk to your midwife, she can arrange a scan to measure the fluid around baby, check it's at safe levels. Flowers

@SunnySideUp2020
I have this every day, very common!
I was advised to wear a liner, and if you're finding you have to change it hourly then it's possible it might be something else. X

I had this throughout my pregnancy and found it really weird/scary as it wasn't something I'd ever heard of as a pregnancy symptom! I hated it as every time I felt it I was terrified I was bleeding and would rush to the toilet, but it was always just clear discharge.

Definitely ask your midwife if you're worried though, she should be able to reassure you.

I experienced this from 17 weeks onwards and was wondering the same thing! At my 20 week scan I requested to see the midwife to ask about it and she said the fluid around the baby was measuring fine in the scan but that if I was worried about it I could make an appointment with my community midwife to discuss. It's got a lot better in recent weeks so I'm not so concerned. If you are worried, perhaps ask for a scan so they can measure the level of fluid around the baby?

So the midwife (who saw my underwear and was also surprised) after vaginal exam said that it is unlikely amniotic fluid because deep inside it is white and creamy and she showed me 😅
She said hormones do crazy things.
She still ran all the tests and swabs and will let me know but she was not concerned after exam!

Thanks everyone for replying!!!
