Spotting now clots, but there’s a heartbeat?

I posted last week, I started spotting and that developed into light/medium period type
blood. I was 8 weeks exactly.

After 48 hours I had a private scan and it showed a heartbeat (yay!) and no obvious signs of bleeding.

One week on and the bleeding is on/off and today I have noticed a few clots, particularly when in the bath. Bright red, just like a period.

I have also experienced some crippling stabbing pains, but again the sonographer last week couldn’t see why.

I don’t want to waste my EPU’s time by getting another scan if everything is OK. Could there be another reason for spotting/clots?

I had 3 m/cs, then with my 4th pg I had bleeding. But a heartbeat at the scan. They said it was likely a 2nd pregnancy that hadn't progressed.

That 4th pg is now an 18yo.
