Was told was 1cm dilated now told cervix is closed

I’m 40+4 and was told I was 1cm with soft low cervix at 39 weeks and midwife was able to a sweep. Went to examined today and was told cervix is closed high and hard 😫 Feel so fed up! Is it possible for cervix to close again after being open?

It’s very subjective. So while one midwife might say 1cm another midwife might say you are not dilated at all.

Very subjective and based on experience and feel as they can’t see see anything!
