Pregnant but feel as though my period is coming

Hi all,

I found out I was pregnant 6 days ago (at 3+1). I know that is super early but I have done over 20 tests including digitals and they are all positive. The lines are all getting darker etc. I am due on my period today and feel like it is coming. Did anyone else feel like that and everything turned out ok? I know I need to calm down but I'm so anxious for everything to be ok!

Hey, I found out at 3+2 and I’m currently 4 weeks now. Every day since I got my BFP I also felt like AF was coming, kept having period pain like cramps, the usual sore boobs etc. AF is also due today for me but nothing so far.

Hope we both have sticky beans and have a happy & healthy 9 months! 🤞🏼

Yes I felt this way and did for the first few weeks to be honest! I'm now 20 weeks pregnant 🥰Think it's cruel that period and pregnancy symptoms can be so similar! Sounds very normal to me!

Hi - congratulations! I felt like that and to be honest, I still do! It feels more like the pressure build up you get without the pain (although I've had period pains too). I'm 18 weeks now and even today I've had the feeling my period is coming, it's bloody weird but I think it's normal too. You may also spot a bit around your period time, again totally normal. Wishing you a happy pregnancy! :) x

@wilsonbump yeah this will be my first ☺️ I couldn’t believe how positive my test was when I first tested at 9dpo! We both must have implanted early to find out so early on 😁

I hear you OP! I am 5 weeks and also had a very dark line.
Feels almost 'warm' down there, like it does a day or two before my period, lots of pulling sensations and cramping. I'm also terrified it means something is wrong!

I felt this way with DC1, so much so I actually went and bought a box of tampons the day before I found out I was pregnant as my period was due. Currently 27 weeks pregnant with DC2 and had the same cramps early on. Totally normal so don’t worry ❤️

Thank you all and congrats to all you preggo mamas! It's good to know others feel these weird on and off cramps too. This is also too much info but every time it feels 'wet' down there I am constantly running to check it's not AF!
@Nam095 yes this will be my first baby! I was also shocked at how positive mine were. I had a positive digital 4 days before my period was even due! I'm guessing I ovulated a day or two early and implanted early so what I thought was 7dpo with the positive test was probably more like 9. 🤞🏻😁 x
