Just that really. I’m intrigued! There’s a real mixed bag of reviews.

There’s been a few threads on here about them if you search through. They’re basically a 50/50 and if they get it wrong they try to say you did the test wrong. Wait and get a proper one or a scan and don’t waste your money. Check out reviews online too.

Thank you @Oneandabean it’s very tempting as they seem to do a lot of advertising? I’ve read a thread where someone said they are legit as obviously would be illegal to claim they get it right 99% of the time or whatever it is. Although I’ve just looked on trust pilot and there are quite a few ‘it said boy but was a girl’ type reviews!

@whatwouldidowithoutu
Total waste of money!! Their percentage of success is their own figure.. Be patient and wait for when it's certain x

I think that’s why the whole blaming the customer thing works well. They can claim the customer did it wrong instead of admitting it was wrong. Like a loophole to get out of blame. SIL a midwife and she said avoid as so many are wrong and causes confusion at gender scan

Me! Although I’m yet to find out if it’s accurate. Was an impulse buy. Very hard to get the blood out of your finger without it running under the nails which mine did. I thoroughly scrubbed the surface and my hands and nails so we will see. My result came back boy, I have my husband and son in the house but I did make sure they popped out whilst I did the test.

RoseGoldEagle · 21/10/2020 21:23

I did, it was right for me. The test is legitimate, it looks for male DNA in your bloodstream. If it’s taken in a clinical setting then the accuracy is really high. However if you take it at home it’s possible that your sample could get contaminated with male DNA from male family members. So a boy result is less reliable than a girl result.

iloveyoubutilovememore · 21/10/2020 21:51

Did you take it at home? @RoseGoldEagle

RoseGoldEagle · 21/10/2020 22:14

iloveyoubutilovememore. Yes I did mine at home, I did worry it might get contaminated but followed all the instructions for cleaning as well as I could. I got a girl result which was right, if it had come back as ‘boy’ I wouldn’t have trusted it as much (which I guess would have made doing it a bit pointless! But I did trust the girl result)
