I’ve had a readmission when baby was 3 days due to jaundice - left when baby was 6 days, baby now 9 days and feel like we might be heading back there due to my high BP and baby not breathing that freely.

some people do bounce back and forth sometimes. I’ve not been readmitted to postnatal, but with my second we had an assessment in NICU because of something that turned out to be fine, I spent an evening at the maternity assessment unit with a fever and awaiting bloods, and then we had a 3 week old with a uti so that was a week in the children’s hospital

My daughter was. She had unusual complications during labour which had baffled doctors in regards to treatment. Honestly just so stressful. Just one of those things I guess. We had only been home for one day when she got readmitted the second time.

Hope you and your baby will be okay. Let us know how you get on.
