Hi all,

I’m new to here and I’ve joined as I’ve got a few concerns about my pregnancy. I haven’t booked in with my gynecologist yet but plan to in the next few weeks. I got a BFP last week and it’s been 7 weeks now since my last period. I’ve been having constant cramps in my ovaries. Sometimes if I sit up suddenly I get severe pain in one side. Is this normal? Just today I’ve started seeing blood in my vaginal discharge. Confused

The pain on changing position is no doubt round ligament pain. Totally normal. If it persists beyond a few moments, or is not on moving, why not get seen? Ring your gp or early pregnancy unit.

Worrying about miscarriage is a bit like worrying he sky is blue. It's a fact of life and nothing you can do will either cause one or not cause one, ifyswim.

Thank you for this! I didn’t actually know about round ligament pain and I’ve just had a google. It’s good to know why I have this pain.
