7 weeks pregnant- worried about miscarriage

Hi all,

I’m new to here and I’ve joined as I’ve got a few concerns about my pregnancy. I haven’t booked in with my gynecologist yet but plan to in the next few weeks. I got a BFP last week and it’s been 7 weeks now since my last period. I’ve been having constant cramps in my ovaries. Sometimes if I sit up suddenly I get severe pain in one side. Is this normal? Just today I’ve started seeing blood in my vaginal discharge.

The pain on changing position is no doubt round ligament pain. Totally normal. If it persists beyond a few moments, or is not on moving, why not get seen? Ring your gp or early pregnancy unit.

Thank you for this! I didn’t actually know about round ligament pain and I’ve just had a google. It’s good to know why I have this pain.
