Just had my antenatal appointment had leukocytes in urine!

Anyone had leukocytes in urine and turned out to be nothing when my midwife checked my urine I had a little bit of protein also bit worried

Also not having any symptoms so far when peeing so not sure what this could be

Yes I had some leucokcytes at 20 weeks, midwife sent it off the the hospital lab and everything was fine, she said it was just caused by extra discharge.

Could be an infection, could be nothing. I wouldnt worry, if you have no urinary symptoms you are unlikely to need any treatment. Even if you did a short course of antibiotics would solve it.

I had this, but no infection was detected from culture. I've always had a lot of discharge so put it down to that (sorry tmi)

I has this and it was a bartholian cyst.

I had the same, they didn’t do any checks or anything, the next appointment was all normal

I’ve literally never done a urine dip and not had leukocytes and a trace of protein. I always do a mid-stream sample but it would seem that I’m just very discharge-y. Usually leukocytes on their own are nothing to worry about. You tend to get nitrates with UTIs.
