Hello everyone!

My husband and I are not actively trying to conceive but we don’t use protection. My last “period”was the 5th - 7th august. I say “period” because I had no idea it was coming as I usually get cramps and a headache but this one literally snuck up on me. It was very light, started with red blood which darkened like normal but I had zero cramps which is odd for me.

I am now currently in cycle day 76, 44 days late. I’m usually pretty regularly between 28 - 30 days and I have NEVER missed my period.

I have taken 6 tests, two at the beginning may have had the teeniest mark of a line but all since have been negative. Last test was 3 weeks ago. I also had a blood test 2 weeks ago which was also “normal”.

I’m going out of my mind with confusion as I’ve never been pregnant before so don’t know what it feels like. I don’t have sore boobs; occasionally I’ve had twinges in them but very rarely. I’ve lost my appetite a little but don’t have food aversions, I’m extremely tired and randomly violently vomited two nights ago. I also feel bloated, almost like my stomach is full.

Please help me. Has anyone experienced anything like this? I have tried to get a drs appointment but due to Covid I’ve had one telephone call which lead to the blood test and then was told I’m not pregnant.

Any advice would be so helpful and appreciated, I’m so confused and upset about it all.

Is anything in your life stressing you out? Your period won't come if you're too stressed.

Your delay does sound extreme though. The most I've been late was a week and it's frustrating 😐

Anovulatory cycle. Totally normal, even if not normal for you. Frustrating.

and yes you are ttc if you don't use any contraception.

I’m not sure it is anovulatory cycle as I experienced egg white CM the month of my last period. It could be though. I suppose if it is only time will tell.

Technically yes, we’re just not actively ttc so aren’t checking bbt or when ovulation has occurred. If it happened then great but we aren’t purposely having sex to conceive is what I meant.

Only thing stressing me out is this! Previously to missed period no, normal stress levels.

I had similar situation back in Feb. this year where I knew for sure that I wasn't pregnant as i was sexually inactive the past month since my partner was out of country but i completely missed my periods. Still the GP did pregnancy test which came out negative obviously. All my blood tests came out clear too. Basically two months before my missed periods, i started quite an aggressive workout routine coupled with some fad diets resulting in a loss of 3 kgs of body weight, which the GP said were potentially the reason why my body went in a state of 'shock'. However, when i cut down my workout routine and gave up on fad diet, almost 1.5 months later i got my periods. Try and think if you have recently brought about any such change in your daily routine that could have had a massive impact on your body. I know this can be very frustrating. I wish you all the best !
