Pregnant and bleeding dont know how far I am and the hospital have told me not to worry

Hi,

I found out a week ago I am pregnant started bleeding very lightly a few days after, it got heavier as the day went on. I've had a ectopic in the past which left me with one tube, so doctor sent me to the hospital they confirmed my pregnancy by a urine sample no bloods or scan was done and no scan was booked, all I got told that my cervix is closed and not to worry. The bleeding has stopped and now I have started again but it very light more light spotting I am now left wondering if I'm still pregnant or if its in my tube again, my pregnancy test are still coming back positive. Don't know what to do now would it be worth ringing my GP and getting bloods and a scan booked? I don't know how far along I am either xx

Is the early pregnancy unit not monitoring you? Do they know you’ve had a past ectopic?

Ring your local EPU, insist they arrange a scan for you as you've had a previous ectopic.

I would most definitely push to been seen/monitored more closely, if nothing else but for some reassurance! I'm sure you and baby will be ok but I'm sure you would much rather a bit more monitoring xxx

Unfortunately no thier monitoring me, they just sent me away all they said that my cervix is closed and that thier not worried, the hospital and my doctor are both well aware about the ectopic. I am going to ring my gp in the morning and insist that she does my bloods and sends me for a scan xx
