Overdue Club.....Day 10 for me

Just a thread of solidarity for my fellow 41 week mums to say that I'm also symptom spotting and googling like a lunatic and wondering what is wrong with me when I know there isn't.

41+3 today, first time Mum, induction booked at 42 weeks and close family relationships under risk of irreparable damage from the irritation caused from the daily, well meaning but fucking by now infuriating 'Any sign of baby yet????' Text messages.

Just fuck off 🤬😂

Oh no! Not overdue myself but couldn't leave the thread without wishing you good luck.
I'm only at 38+4 and the texts are already driving me crazy, can't imagine how I'd be in your position.

Block them!!
I went 14 days over first time and 12 second. By third baby I learn not to tell anyone my actual EDD and also got out of my own head that it was a countdown. I honestly can’t even remember baby fours EDD... all were late.
Think of things that will be difficult to do after the birth and try to fit them in- like long lies and hot baths with a book and getting your eyebrows done and if you can muster up the energy have some lovely sex with plenty of nipple stimulation and at least one orgasm. It won’t be long now... oh and get out for a nice walk or walk up and downstairs sideways

I do understand you hun just want to say I am currently 41 weeks pregnant with my second one and still nothing. Had a sweep last week also my midwife said it’s all soft there and ready to go, should be there anytime now but still nothing. Had lost my mucus plug and had a bloody show, tried everything nothing works. With my first one was induced at 40+5 days for medical reason with second one everything is fine just need to wait. Tomorrow will have another appointment will discuss the induction date, don’t scare at all as my first labour was just under 7 hours not that bad and no stress as I knew I am under the midwife team. Good luck anyway and fingers crossed gor easy labour 😀
