Anyone had soft poo in late pregnancy?

With my last pregnancy I started to get soft poo ( not runny though but quite soft) for two weeks starting at 35 weeks . Baby arrived 37 weeks exactly .

I’m now 35+6 weeks pregnant again and the exact same thing has been happening . I’ve been dealing with constipation my entire pregnancy and my diet/water intake hasn’t changed so this is standing out as unusual for me .

In your experience did this happen to you and lead to labour ?

I was convinced that baby was gonna make it to its due date but this feels like a repeat of my last pregnancy. Or maybe my body just makes soft poo late in pregnancy and it has absolutely nothing to do with labour !?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Eek, I'm following. I'm only 33+1 but have been having soft poo/mild diarrhoea on and off for a few days. I know it can be an early sign of labour and I'm worried :( However I had a scan 5 days ago which is after the problem started and my cervix was still really thick... hoping it doesn't mean anything as I really don't want baby to come so early :( xx

For me I had loose stools for 2 days prior to labour on my first 2 children, on my 3rd and 4th I was induced and it began just before labour, I think it's your body's way on clearing out before birth xx
