Do you have to check if Chinese food is MSG free

I've ordered Chinese food and heard you need to ask the restaurant if they are msg free is this true ?

I would personally just eat it and enjoy it!

If you can find a chines restaurant that's MSG free, you'll be lucky. And if they say they are, take it with a pinch of salt.

I’ve never heard this and I really wouldn’t worry about it. They probably won’t tell the truth and MSG is natural anyway, doesn’t deserve the panic around it.

Lol that I was thinking as Chinese people always add msg to add flavour to dishes 😩 I will just enjoy thanks ladies

I eat msg in chinese and other foods.
I think it's ok.

Chinese food in this country is MSG. You'd be amazingly lucky to find it without.

Also is sweet & sour chicken okay ?
