Did you walk or rest with foley bulb in?

I'm 12 days over and currently at the hospital with a foley bulb inserted. I'll be here until baby is born and was 2-3cm dilated before it went in. I can't decide whether to try and keep active to put pressure on my cervix or to just sit down and read.

Those of you who had this method, what did you do and how long did it take?

I was advised to be as mobile as possible once it was in, especially going up and down stairs! Definitely try to keep active as it all helps, but I’m sure you can rest up and read in between too. Good luck!

@Corilee2806 Good to know, thanks! How long was it in for you before contractions started or it fell out?

I think maybe 5-6 hours? I had it put in early evening and they started during the night. My first baby and 3 weeks early though, so I wasn’t that ready - you might find things progress more quickly! For me it didn’t bring on labour but I did get a bit dilated so they could break my waters.

Okie doke, thank you Smile I've been getting quite a few Braxton Hicks now so crossing my fingers that it's at least doing something to my cervix!
