Pain at the top of bump

Hello, I will be 37 weeks tomorrow. Today I have been getting a pain at the top of my bump, right in the middle. It hurts loads when I cough or laugh. It also feels quite sharp when I press it. Does anyone know if I should be worried about this? Or anyone had something similar? I am guessing it could be my muscles hurting as she has been kicking a lot. Thank you for any help!!

I had this at a similar stage to you! I called my midwife and she just said it was muscles and ligaments 😊 was nothing to worry about and DD was born a couple of weeks later completely healthy.

I have this and when I saw the sonographer for a growth scan she said it was because baby’s knees were right there giving me a shove every now and then

I’ve had this recently at 31 weeks, accompanied by a really weird bloated type feeling.

I think it was the baby shifting position and stretching things.
