Pregnant after 3 csections....advice

Hi all, I have 3 kids age 7, 2 and 10 months....I’ve just today found out I’m pregnant (not planned)...had 3 sections. 1 emergency, 2 electives. I was told at my last section they wouldn’t really recommend me having another baby due to the scar tissue and risk of adesions and that if I did decide I wanted another that I should wait a lot longer than I did last time. I had thought we might have one more in a few years but I would have spoken to a consultant about it before trying...anyway now I’m pregnant and my baby is only 10 months...Has anyone been in a similar situation to me, I don’t know what to do?! I’ve asked the doctor to call me but won’t be till tomorrow, not told my partner yet he didn’t even want anymore 🙈

That's meant to say... It's still very unlikely that you'll have it!

Thanks @SunbathingDragon I’m hopeful I don’t get it but I can’t help but worry....and then I think well if I don’t get that I’m bound to get some sort of bladder or bowel injury this time due to my bladder being stuck to my womb last time so it’s no doubt worse this time 😖 and I’ll haemorrhage and die. Finding it very hard to stay positive

Thanks @Somethingsnappy I feel like I’m over analysing everything at the moment. I go from one thing to the next thinking the worst is going to happen. I’ve gone from worrying about placenta accreta to then worrying about bladder injuries and haemorrhaging and then even to worrying about what Covid will be like in a few months from now and will there even be any staff to perform my 4th section or will they all be off with Covid or self isolating? I’m hoping I’m being completely stupid but I have friends working in hospital saying staffing is short in areas of the hospital atm as they’re all having to self isolate And there’s a lot of Covid patients in at the moment 😕(I live in an area that’s considered high risk Covid atm, were in tier 3)

Sorry to hear of your worries with the baby 😔 Was the consultant at the hospital not able to reassure you about the polyhydramnios? If your other babies also had it though and we’re all ok that’s reassuring though Isn’t it? Too much amniotic fluid usually isn’t something to worry about is it especially if it isn’t accompanied by other issues? Try not to worry, have they said they’ll do further tests? Xx

Ps. I don’t mind if I end up with no womb....4 children was my limit, I just want to come out alive and well 👀

@Mummyto3GBG. Hi again! I'm sorry I've been incommunicado for a while....I was very anxious about my last scan, when there was excess fluid in the baby's stomach and a possible 'double bubble' in some of the images, which is associated with an intestinal blockage that would need surgery, and can also be a sign of an increased risk of Down's. However, my last scan seemed much more normal, VSO fingers crossed!

How are you feeling about things now and how is your pregnancy progressing? My placenta is low lying at the moment still, but not covering the cervix.
