Hi All,

I am a full time working mum, 18 weeks pregnant with my second child. When I was pregnant with my first born, I wasn't working so I could conveniently put together healthy lunch and snacks and was religiously following 5-a-day healthy eating regime. However, now that I am working full time, I don't have enough time on hand to fix myself healthy lunch or snacks for work. For lunch I usually go for Subway sandwiches or wraps from M&S and I bring along apples and bananas to get me through the day. I am regularly taking Pregnacare multi vitamins. However, I am concerned that I may not be fulfilling all the nutritional requirements of a developing baby and my child may have a low foetal weight.
Can you please help me with some healthy quick-fix lunch and snack ideas that can help me have a healthy baby ? Much appreciate your feedbacks!

Hi op, I really wouldn't worry too much! Sounds like you're being very sensible already.
Any of the baby led sensing cookbooks have easy healthy toddler snacks so you could make yourself those? The What Mummy Makes cookbook is very handy x

My go to snack is carrot sticks and humous, or baked crisps with humous. I try and make my own sandwiches because it saves you so much ££ 😆 if you have a spare 5mins to make them yourself

Do you have time at the weekend to make a pot of soup? I make enough for the whole week in one go.

Other than that, fruit, yogurt and hard boiled eggs (again do a few at a time and keep them in the fridge) are my go to snacks at the moment.

Pot of soup (last several days then)
Cous cous with salad, avocado and feta
