I just ordered myself the pregnacare gummies because the pill ones are really big.

How was your experience with them did they taste good?
Did they make you feel ill ?

No advice on the gummies, but I thought the liquid medicine which was fine.

I’ve been having the gummies throughout my pregnancy so far (18 weeks) as I struggle with tablets. At first, the taste and smell aren’t great at all, but just keep on with them and you soon get used to it, they don’t bother me at all now - and I take them just before I brush my teeth at night anyway. I think they have slightly lower doses of some nutrients in there than in the tablets but so far, so good - I had a scan on Friday and baby is looking perfect. I haven’t felt particularly ill with them either. Good luck!

The taste I got used to, but they smell horrible.
My partner could tell when I had just taken them because he could smell them on me.

I was taking the gummies before I lost my appetite. I actually thought they were okay. Smell horrible but for me tasted okay.

I took mine at the same time. I wanted to get them over and done with in one go.

You do get used to the taste. When I first had them I started retching because they felt gritty and weird - like chewing paracetamol. After a couple of days I was fine with them.

Fruitloops34 · 12/10/2020 14:33

Just chew twice and then take a drink of juice. Job done. Yeah I took two at the same time.

@Turtleturtle81 @Fruitloops34

I don't even think I can take the other one 🤢🥴 as the first one left a really bad taste in my mouth it's still there after eating and drinking plenty of juice and water I think I will stick to the tablets that's my money gone down the drain 😓

I did read a whole host of reviews from women who said similar about it.
I didn’t find them that bad at all but it’s personal preference I suppose.
Why not just try one a day? Until you get used to them and see how you go?

I’m 34 weeks & have been taking the gummies since 13 weeks as I struggled with swallowing tablets. I take the two together. Just shove them in, chew & swallow.
They do stink. But I’d rather deal with that than swallowing the tablets.
