What did you do in preparation for ttc?

Just that really. Hoping to ttc after Christmas after a miscarriage about a year ago. Is there anything you did to get your body ready?
The time I had a mc I wasn't actually planning to conceive and I felt so guilty that something was my fault. This time I want to make sure I've done everything I can to make my body a safe place for a baby.
Also very excited and just want to know if there's anything I can start doing now to prepare.
Thanks in advance. Apologies if I've posted in the wrong section.

Start taking folic acid and vitamin d, and try to remember that it wasn’t your fault. Miscarriage is bad enough without blaming yourself unnecessarily Flowers

Try to have a healthy lifestyle, and start taking folic acid and vitamin D now.

I ensured I had a healthy body and mind. I took up running and started reading more. I spoke to my gp about a mh condition I have and reduced the dose of my medication to my minimum dose. I also got tested for an autoimmune condition one of my parents has that increases the risk of miscarriage. My gp checked whether I was due a smear test, and I was due a two mk this later so I was proactive in getting that done as soon as I was eligible rather than waiting for the reminder letter.
