Hi, does anyone have any experience with these tests? A week ago it said 3+ and now 2-3. I'm silly for testing, I just had some spare tests. Now feeling anxious and like a miscarriage is about to happen.

Try not to worry too much, HGC levels can be affected by the time of day, how much you've drank etc etc so it may just be due to that Thanks

Thanks @Betty94 💔😭

@buntingandstarcharts I had this when I tested and I wasted so much money on these tests. The next day it went back to 3+ loads of women have had the same problem they aren’t reliable at all x

@Sallyjo27 I tested again and it's 3+ again. I feel less stressed but pretty silly for wasting soooo much money and time on these tests, it's so hard not to, isnt it? 🙈 was everything ok for you? X

I was that stressed I even emailed clearblue and they said not worry there are lots of factors that can affect the result. Unfortunately it wasn’t but the tests never picked it up but I had a missed miscarriage at 9 weeks (I used the tests at 6 weeks so it’s unrelated) xx

They aren't reliable and that's why tests shouldn't be used for checking progression. Don't worry about it, all will be well (and even if it's not, there's nothing you can do anyway, what will be, will be so try not to stress)

buntingandstarcharts · 10/10/2020 22:22

@Sallyjo27 that's really sad, I'm sorry for your missed miscarriage. I'm so scared of those as there's no signs or symptoms 😭 hope you were ok. It's very reassuring to hear you emailed Clearblue and they came back with that response, very nice to know there are others who get as stressed out as me 🙈 also that they seemed chilled about the weeks changing! X

@buntingandstarcharts it’s such a stressful time isn’t it? if you get any pain or bleeding though I’d definitely call your midwife/dr/hospital though. Even right up until my scan at 9 weeks I had morning sickness and all symptoms so the clearblue tests gave no indication of this. I’d advise to stay away from the tests now though as they just cause complete panic xx

@Sallyjo27 what a shock that must have been for you💔 9 weeks feels late for mmc. So sad. Yes it really is stressful, I'm just desperate to get a scan booked in ASAP.
