Weird pregnancy symptoms

So I'm currently 7 and a half weeks pregnant. When I was pregnant before I was sick as a dog for the whole first trimester and vomited, had food aversions and generally felt really hungover (obviously without the drinking!). This time, though, I feel totally different. Queasy on and off, exhausted but absolutely loving any and all food! It tastes incredible. Even stuff I normally don't like that much tastes like food from heaven! I had a pre-made supermarket sandwich the other day (which I usually avoid as I think they taste dreadful) and my god.....I've thought about it every day since! Then DH made me a bacon sandwich this morning and wow! Bacon has never tasted so good. Even a glass of apple juice yesterday was absolutely delicious. What's going on? Is this some kind of weird pregnancy thing?? I've heard of cravings but it's not really that - I don't crave anything specifically, just whatever I eat tastes ten times better than normal. I am a bit worried about the lack of vomiting but I think I am getting symptoms....just totally different ones this time!

Pregnancy is weird full stop! I’ve developed a load of tiny (but very annoying) skin tags in my third trimester, but no stretch marks at all.

My diet is best described as ‘faddy with a lean towards anything sweet’ - weird for a very un fussy eater who has never had a sweet tooth Grin

Hey I'm 7 weeks too!

Exactly the same as you. I've not really had many symptoms I would say. I've felt the odd bit of sickness on and off but tbh I've felt completely normal I'd say!

A odd one I have is that my wee smells funny, I can't smell it but my partner can lol and also that I get out of breath easier than normal!

I have been really worried as I've had 6 miscarriages before but I'm trying to keep positive as this time I've seen a heart beat at 6 weeks 😁

So weird how it can be so different! Urgh I remember the skin tags....I also remember accidentally snagging one off on my bra when I got changed and it bleeding like buggery (0/10 do not recommend). Yeah I'm not going to lie, if the whole everything-tastes-delicious thing is going to be my main symptom then I'm all for it! Of course that may mean I gain waaay too much weight though 🤣

@lenny12345 fingers crossed for you! So good you've seen a heartbeat!! I'm keeping positive but do have an underlying worry that the 12 week scan might bring bad news....on the other hand, I'm sure not every successful pregnancy requires the mother to have her head down a toilet for 12 weeks so hoping I've just gotten lucky this time 🤞 Wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy!
