Hello everyone! This is my first ever time posting on here but thought why not!

My second little boy is due on 22nd of this month and I feel so impatient it’s unreal! Feel like I’ve been having ‘labour symptoms’ for weeks now and nothing is happening!
Had increased discharge and diarrhoea for about a week, many bouts of nesting! the horrible ‘period cramp’ type pain for over a week but it just doesn’t feel like anything is going to happen anytime soon! today I’ve been getting twitches in my vag but I’m putting that down to him wriggling and squiggling so much in there!

With my first little boy, my waters broke followed by contractions and I had him at exactly midnight on his due date! But with this one I just want him here now haha! Especially as chasing after a 2 and a half year old when you’re feeling crappy isn’t fun!

Is anyone else expecting soon and feeling the same? I feel like I’m going stir crazy! x

Amen to that! 38+4 here and I'm feeling sooo uncomfortable! My main complaint is increasingly horrible heartburn, which keeps making me throw up. All I want to do is lie down and sleep, but it hurts too much.

I was telling my partner yesterday that I feel really sorry for women going through this while looking after small children! So big respect to you! I'm whinging and have nothing to do besides being pregnant.

No twinges or signs of labour here as yet. No nesting either, much to my partner's dismay (he's doing everything round the house!) Feeling very, very excited to meet my baby now! We're so very, very nearly there .......

One week behind you, but feeling exactly the same!! Like the post above me it's the heart burn that's driving me crazy and keeping me up at night.
Was told my whole pregnancy that he was measuring weeks ahead so I mentally prepared myself for an early baby, but now at my last check up and scan he's dropped down to completely average (spot on the middle line) so I guess that's off the table.
Had to take all my annual leave before maternity so I've been home for a month already with nothing to do but Netflix and games. The wait is horrible!!

sophs29 · 09/10/2020 17:08

Oh I'm so glad I'm not alone but feeling sympathy with you both! I get slight heartburn in the evenings but nothing too bothersome!
Apparently my last baby was small (he weighed 6lb8 and everyone tells me he looks about 4 now despite only being 2 and a half haha) so I'm having scans every month and apparently this ones looking big too so I also thought he might come soon!
I felt bad wishing away the pregnancy but I'm so uncomfortable now 😩😂

Hi ladies,

37 and 6 here and I'm not impatient per se, but I keep expecting today to be the day something happens and then the day comes and goes before I know it! No difference to the day before! 🤣

The only thing that has been different this week is (TMI, sorry folks!) a little bit of increased mucus-y type discharge but it really is minimal. Definitely wouldn't class it as a show. No other symptoms so I think this baby is in for a the long haul.

What gets me through is that knowing that life is going to be completely different in 2-3 weeks ... can't quite believe it or comprehend it. No going back now ... 🤣

Same @RobynNora, no urges to nest whatsoever. I put a wash on and I hovered upstairs today and that's my lot! 😋

StephyRose · 09/10/2020 17:59

*hoovered, I meant but I did a lot of hovering upstairs too. Love my 2pm nap everyday.

38+5 and feeling the same!! I've also been experiencing the same, increased discharge, diarrhoea, period type pains for the past week and a bit, and just nothing! I have a feeling she's not going to come out any time soon!

Oh same feelings as me then! they say a mother's intuition is always right and somethings telling me this one is going to be late 😩 so hope I'm wrong! haha!

Haha I'm the same, every single day whenever I feel a little niggle I think 'yep today's the day' and then the day goes by with nothing haha!

38 weeks and booked for a section next Friday but hoping she tries to break out early. I wasn't impatient with my first born but then I wasn't this uncomfortable either.

Hopefully for your sake she wants to come and meet you earlier! Yes my first I don't remember ever being this uncomfortable! but then I also think with your first because you don't know what to expect you're not as desperate for labour haha!

I'm exactly the same I'm 38 + 4 every pain I'm getting I think 'is this it' I have a Son who is 2 1/2 and with him I got Induced so in a way I feel like I don't know what I should be looking out for 🙈
I'm also exhausted everyday and having cramps and so much backache I'm hoping something happens soon
Good luck x
