6 weeks pregnant orange bleed when wiping

Hi

I am 6 weeks 2 days pregnant and i am experiencing orange bleeding when i wipe. No cramping or anything. Ive had 4 miscarriages before so this isnt how my previous miscarriages started. I am on progesterone suppositories using them through the front entrance but also have a left side ovarian cyst which was paining me all day yesterday. Im just clutching at straws here.... Anyone 🙏

Are you sure its blood?

I use progesterone suppositories but up the back way, and it can create orange substance to come out if i pass wind on the loo (so sorry but cant put it in a polite way)

Im assuming it is its not mixed with discharge sorry tmi. Its when im wiping.

Orange discharge is a sign of an infection so it might be worth speaking to your midwife. I'm sorry to say that I did have bright orange bleeding after one of my miscarriages, but I was also found to have a very large ovarian cyst at the time, so it could have been linked to that rather than the miscarriage. In either case, I'd call the midwife for advise.

Just to update... Not had anymore spotting since this morning although feel like period is coming i run to the bathroom thinking it's blood but just clear discharge... Sorry tmi

Hi i started to spot again the same night and have been spotting every night since that day. I will be going for a scan today so will update later to anyone who still reads this

I had the gel 8% progesterone suppositories (vaginal) and anything from pink, salmon, orange, brown and black discharge was considered absolutely normal. My consultant was never worried. Regular scans showed all was OK so fingers crossed for you too!

I will be 7 weeks tommorow. Wish me luck i will update soon. Im not hopeful due to my history but lets see

Just had my scan.. Baby with a heartbeat and measuring 6 weeks 6 days. My legs we're shaking. Im so relieved. Thankyou for the best wishes

That’s lovely news, so very pleased for you.
Did they know what was causing the coloured discharge or spotting?

I asked the sonographer he said he can't see anything around the uteris causing the bleeding and also the cervix looked closed. But to keep an eye on it.
