38 weeks and tingling in tongue

38+5, just had lunch and got a tingling in my tongue.
It’s starting to wear off now but now I’m worried! Just googled it and pre eclampsia came up. Even though not a common symptom, I can’t stop thinking about it. Baby still moving as normal.
I have a scan tomorrow morning anyway, providing I feel ok, should I wait for scan and mention it tomorrow or still call hospital now to let them know what’s happened?

Has this happened to anyone or am I just being paranoid over every little thing now I’m so close to due date?

Tingling in the tongue is a symptom of severe preclampsia - it wouldn’t be your first symptom

Ok great! Thank you, wonder what an earth it was. Never had that before... fingers crossed I’m ok rest of the day and will speak to hospital tomorrow.
