I am so excited. My favourite AIMS book, Am I Allowed, has been updated and replaced by a new version - The AIMS Guide to your rights in pregnancy and birth. I had the original book for my first pregnancies and they were so helpful in helping me to get the birth I wanted and not be bulldozed into stuff I didn't. I'm sure this one will be even better!

Thanks for sharing. It's so important to know your rights. It can be the difference between a good experience or a traumatic one.

That's what my experience is for sure. So much trauma is caused by not being in control of what's happening and often that's because we don't know we are actually the ones who make the decisions.

How to give birth like a feminist is also definitely worth a read - it's the second book by Milli Hill.
