Salty breastmilk in early pregnancy

Hello, I’m 7 weeks pregnant with a DD who is still breastfeeding at 20 months. I have heard that breastmilk changes flavour and goes salty when you become pregnant. Has anyone experienced this and if so, when did your milk turn?

I breastfed through my second pregnancy but never tasted it so I wouldn’t know Confused

My DD stopped BF once I was 3 months pregnant. Thank god as I also developed an aversion and suddenly couldn't stand it

I also didn't taste it so can't comment on that! My DD just went right off it at the same time I did so I suspect something hormonal was changing things

Hmm, I can't say I've ever heard that breastmilk turns salty when you are pregnant.

However, DS1 went off breastfeeding at nine months when i was about 12 weeks pregnant with DS2.

And the minute he weaned himself off, I got hit with horrendous morning sickness. Sigh.
