I’m only 22 weeks but for the last four weeks have felt baby move regularly throughout the day, pretty much feeling something every hour!
I went to get checked out today as not felt the baby all morning and heartbeat was found quickly and nice and strong. Baby kicked a few times after that but has gone quiet again, all afternoon now.
Should I just accept that a heartbeat was found and wait until tomorrow or call up again? I’m so torn

Call up again and ask them.

Call up again if you’re worried but also worth remembering baby doesn’t tend to get into a regular pattern until around 28 weeks. At 22 weeks they’re still small enough that you may not feel if they turn in certain positions.
Obviously call your midwives if you are concerned.

@Oneandabean this is what’s making me think just wait to see if it wakes up tomorrow as I’ve already had the good news of the heartbeat

I went in 9 times for reduced movements when I was pregnant with my DD and I never regretted going in and hearing her heart beat just to be sure,

Thank you everyone. I laid down for a bit and put my hands on my belly for a couple of mins and got 12 kicks / movements in a row. My OH put his hand on my belly and felt a couple more and one almighty one that I felt through his hand!

I phoned them to say since 1pm it’s been nothing but I can now feel things if I put my hands on my belly (normally I can feel movements without hands on belly) and told them how many I’d had and they were happy with that. It’s since been doing a few somersaults and I feel more at ease

Thank you everyone Flowers

So glad to hear baby's on the move now OP Smile not sure if you tried it but I was told by the hospital to try a very cold drink with ice and then lie on your side. Apparently the coldness often gets baby to move, it worked for me!

MinesALatte · 04/10/2020 20:38

@shreddednips (love your name 😂😂) I had some cold orange juice this morning and that did nothing, will try ice next time! Thank you
