38 weeks pregnant very bad back & groin pain

Hi everyone, I’m 38 weeks pregnant & have very bad lower back pain & sharp groin pain. The midwife examined me today & the baby’s head is very far down but my cervix is still closed. I’m due a c section on Thursday not sure what this pain is or if I can stick it until Thursday 😫 do you think this is early Labour signs?

Very well could be. My first 2 were both back to back labours and that’s where all the pains were worse/started. How are you feeling now?

The sharp groin pain sounds like spd, it’s a killer 😓

Do the back pains come in waves, like contractions? If so maybe start timing them to see how often they come.

Maybe try a bath to help with the pain x
