Hello, I have been told that I need to have a telephone assessment for ESA.It as originally due to be re-assessed in April but then Covid happened and everything went quiet.I have depression, anxiety, trauma and agoraphobia in addition to severe hand eczema which cracks deeply and bleeds, reduces my manual dexterity and is very painful. In the interim period I have had consultations by phone and video with a dermatologist who has referred me for hospital treatment for my hands though yet to get an appt and also a clinical psychologist and psychiatrist ho have both produced letters to my GP outlining my symptoms and treatment plan including having my anxiety mediation increased until they can get going on treatments for me. Again, covid has delayed everything. I sent my ESA form in last March but the latest psych/derm reports in the last two weeks having spoken to a lady at the DWP who told me they are trying to do as much as possible from paper assessments. The psych reports and derm report more or less back up everything I say in the form. Has anyone had a phone assessment or had their claim done from paper evidence only due to Covid? If so, could you let me know your experience and if you have any tips? I have had 2 F2F before and been awarded ESA but put in the WRAG group which I think was wrong but I was too down to even think about challenging it.The last job centre appointment I had resulted in a huge panic attack and the disability advisor being called who then cancelled the appointment and the 'skills' placement they were trying to force me into. I am feeling sick with worry so any advice/experience would be really helpful.
