High Fetal Heart rate - 185bpm at 9 weeks

Hello everyone,
So today I had scanning at 9 weeks with FHR 185 BPM and my ob/gyn was more concerned and worried and said this is very high FHR and might cause problem or may not be viable pregnancy going forward.
After my previous loss in 5th month, I m really worried again by doctor's words.
Anyone else had similar FHR and went on to have healthy pregnancy?

I'm surprised your doctor said that to you? One of my twins had a FHR of around 183 at a private scan I had at 10 weeks. Her twin was 160 something. No one said this was anything to worry about and when I looked up FHR on google week 10 is about when it peaks and then they start to drop after that. Both twins are around the 160 mark now x

I had a scan at 9 weeks. It showed a heartbeat of 180 - I was told that this was a healthy heartbeat 🤷 I'm 11 weeks now - all ok so far.

But I dont know why but my GP was very much concerned telling its very high, when I asked her any problem she said cant predict, anything might happen. If it continues to be so, heartbeat might stop she said :(

But thats normal! The higher end but still within the norm. At 9 weeks my FHR was 190. All good now at 13 weeks, NIPT all low risk. My consultant wasn't concerned!

How did it go for you in the end? I am really interested to hear as I also had a 9 week scan the other week and heart rate was 185 but my doctor did not say anything about it or seemed concerned but also getting so nervous as I've had several other miscarriages.

Mine went as high as 190 in my 9th week. I'm currently 37 weeks and so far so good. I check baby's hb everyday briefly so I can be aware of what their normal is. As baby gets bigger the hb gets slower.

A slow hb is more of a concern than a fast one at such an early stage.
