I move a lot in my sleep and woke up in my back a lot. My little boy was born on Friday and it hasn't seemed to effect him and honestly, give it time and you won't be able to roll over onto your back, or at least I couldn't Grin

I often woke up on my back. She’s currently dozing in my arms. If you wake up on your back just go back to sleep on your side.

I think the guidance is to fall asleep on your side as it's the position you sleep in the longest, you can't help it if you wake up on your back so try not to feel bad about it x

I wouldn’t worry too much. I had one of those long pillows to cuddle. I put it between my legs and cuddles the pillow. Helped me stay on my side.

Same. Even though I have a big body pillow I wake up on my back all the time. I'm really not getting on with this side sleeping malarkey

Thank you to everyone for their fast replies I guess it's just one of those things that you can help tbh I'm going to talk to my midwife more about it and I'm going to invest in a pregnancy pillow hope it will work I've just scared my self reading all these things saying sleeping on your back increases still born (God forbid)

Get a long pillow, like Theraline. It’s a good pregnancy pillow but an even better feeding pillow and also for putting behind babies learning to sit up, so you’ll get your money’s worth.
