Diarrhoea in early pregnancy - is this normal???

Hi,
I only found out I was pregnant on Sunday, and as of today, Thursday, I believe I’m 6 weeks and 6 days. Since Sunday I have also had bad diarrhoea. 5 days on and it still doesn’t seem to be getting any better.
Has anyone else experienced this?

I appreciate it may not be pregnancy related but thought I’d ask if anyone else had experience similar in case it is. And if so should I be worried.

How far along are you?

I think if you have any concerns, big or small, you should call your midwife just for peace of mind given your experience with miscarriages.

I’m 6 weeks 2 days, and been having diarrhoea on and off past few days along with morning sickness and vomiting . I had sickness with my first around this time but not the other end so new experience for me! I’ve read it can be the hormones or could be my poor eating habits as struggling with the nausea.

Hopefully you’re just experiencing a bit of morning sickness that might also trigger diarrhoea but I’d maybe contact your midwife for some reassurance :-) I’m getting an early scan Friday so am hoping to ask when I’m there if it keeps persisting. Xx

@PopT4rts I'm 6 weeks 4 days! Thankfully it was just the once I had it today and once I went to the toilet I was fine. I felt sick before it, so it does make sense for it to tie together. But it did panic me slightly🥺

I don't have a midwife yet, but I do have an early scan on Thursday with the EPU that the fertility care I'm under have arranged. So fingers crossed all is okay🤞🏼
