Horrid taste in mouth

I'm 9 weeks and suffering a lot with nausea. It's getting a bit better now but what's not helping is this horrid metallic taste in my mouth. Nothing gets rid of it. Any tips?

Ice water and chewing gum help me.

Eat cardboardish dry savoury things throughout the day, like twiglets, pom bears and poppy seed crackers. This is all that helped my nausea and it helped with the awful taste thing too.

@cheekypanda thanks I'll try the ice water
@BrandoraPaithwaite Pom bears are an excellent idea. Salty plain and yummy

Smints. Had to have one in my mouth at all times for 2 pregnancies. Leaving house - keys purse smints. Fun times.
