Very very fainyt line and now a negative, confused!

Evening all, I think I am 10 DPO and yesterday evening I got a very very faint line positive off an early detect test.
I have taken one again this afternoon (first response early detect) and this says negative?

I've taken probably 3 tests in my life so I don't really know if there's still hope or what?!

Is this possible?

When testing early you need to test first thing in the morning. Your HCG levels will currently be very low so you need concentrated pee to give the test the best chance of working . Try again in the morning.
