C-section scar burning in pregnancy

Just wondering if anyone else had experienced this? Had an EMCS in early 2018. Healed really well. I'm now 32 weeks pregnant and keep getting episodes of a burning sensation along the scar line/area. I'm not sure if I'm just being paranoid because of potential (and thankfully rare!) uterine rupture. I wouldn't describe it was painful but had three episodes in the last 24 hours and just after some reassurance. Can't find much on Google on whether this is to be expected or not.

Hey @Pukeymama, I have had a similar experience! I had a large cyst & ovary removed around 7 years ago. The cut ended up being just like a cesarean. From about 26wks my scar started to discolour and was very painful. Midwife checked it over and said it was normal. Currently 37+4 and only experience discomfort to touch but the scar looks very bruised. If you're worried get your midwife to take a look at your next appointment, hopefully all will be fine 🤞 x

Thanks for the reply @herbiemama, I've got an appointment in 2 weeks so will ask her to check then. It doesn't look any different at the moment so probably just scar tissue stretching!
