5+5 yolk sac but no fetal pole

They're not seeing me now for 2 whole weeks! How will I cope?

Can anyone offer me reassurance that they've been here and everything turned out fine?

Googling would suggest you’re not meant to be able to see a fetal pole yet?

I didn't have such early scans but our 12 week scan was a week and a bit off because I have wonky cycles so we had to go back to get accurate measurements.

Your a bit too early to see it now and if the dates are off a little bit you could be even more off which is probably why you have to wait a while longer, would be really upsetting to go again and still not see. Fingers crossed in a couple weeks you'll be about to report back that it's all there.

This pregnancy i had a scan at 5+4 but measured 5+2 and only yolk and sack seen. Two week wait (which feels like forever) before returning for follow up to see a baby with a heartbeat. Try to distract yourself if you can, Google will tell you stories that go both ways (I've got my own story which ended in sad news) but honestly as this point it doesn't sound concerning.

I had pains and bleeding around or maybe just under 6 weeks pregnant so they suspected it was ectopic. I can’t remember exactly what was there on the scan but there was no heartbeat and I had to wait 2 weeks before I went back saw one (she’s 4 now). Was there a reason for your early scan? If you’ve just booked a private one you’ve probably just booked too early. With my second child my 12 week scan was 2 weeks out, I had ovulated 2 weeks late, it made sense as I didn’t get a positive pregnancy test until my period was 2 weeks late.

Yes my early scan was because I've had 2 mc and I was having cramping.
