Labour or food poisoning?

I think we know where this is heading... I’ve been really nauseous and heartburn for the last few days (im 37+2) and last night my body decided to expel what felt like all its contents.
My stomach is still cramping this morning, not in a periody kind of way but more like needing the toilet again. But could this be an early sign of labour? I’ve been getting so so hot at night the last few nights as well so I just feel like my body has gone a bit haywire!!

Ooh exciting! Most logical question is, is anyone else in your house experiencing the same symptoms? Have you been eating the same food as everyone else?
Also have you been having any discharge that's different from usual that could be your mucus plug?

That’s a good point - no one else has had any problems and we’ve eaten the same. My stomach can be more sensitive than others though.

I still feel so nauseous now 🤢

I was convinced I had food poisoning from a Chinese at 31 weeks. Finally got checked and those stomach cramps were contractions and I was 5cm dilated...

Dts born 24 hours later small but well but don't dismiss anything!

I was dismissed as food poisoning when my mum went into labour 15 weeks early.

Is there anything I need to do or just wait and see if cramps continue? I sound like such a rookie 🙈 but I am FTM!!

I was the same a few days before I gave birth. I also assumed it was food poisoning, but no one else in the house had it. Just be prepared in case

Bleugh! Also will drinking fizzy water help or make it worse?
