So a couple of months ago my partner and I decided to try for another baby, I removed my coil on my period and we started at it.
This month I'm 3-4days late but went out and bought a test which I did this afternoon and it's a negative.
I have what feels like period aches but no other real symptoms.
I am still breast feeding but my dd is almost a year and on 2 feeds a day now and my periods have been regular for about 7 months now both with and without the coil.
Last month two days before my expected ovulation I started having awful nausea, it would come and go, breasts turned in to a road map and very sore and insanely emotional. I was 100% sure I was pregnant but then a week before my period I had a bad pain in my stomach. It really hurt so much that it made me breathless. It hit in the middle of making dinner so I powered through and after about an hour it died down so I didn't go to hospital, my nausia pretty much disappeared over the next few days and the following week I had my period.
Could this have been an ectopic pregnancy? I've read the hormone levels for ectopic are all over the place compared to a standard pregnancy level doubling each day.
Really hoping tomorrow I get a positive first thing in the morning
