Hiya, I have a thick very faint blue line going vertical in the center to make a + but have seen so many post on these reading false positives... however CB Digital says not pregnant

I'm due in 4 days... Anyone had the same? Thanks xx

It’s still early, wait a few days and test again, I’d recommend the FRER, I got a very dark line the day my period was due

YouCantBeSadHoldingACupcake · 22/09/2020 11:15

The digital ones aren't that sensitive and shouldn't really be used before your period is due

theresaplaceforus · 22/09/2020 11:17

I don’t think the Sainsbury’s Own brand ones are great to be honest

ambs245 · 22/09/2020 15:58

Thank you everyone! I'll wait a few more days and try and get hold of a FR test... Can't find them anywhere?! X

Mini panic reading this .. used Sainsbury’s own test and positive at 5 weeks.. do I need to recheck 😖😖😖

Triskaidekaphilia · 22/09/2020 16:18

I had my first bfp this pregnancy on one then remembered they were unreliable and checked with a boots one, still bfp! But that was 2 days after possible period due (mine are irregular but I knew when I ovulated).

Honeydukesmum · 22/09/2020 18:30

So .. partner brought this clear blue back ( not the digital one but I’ll let him off). First is the Sainsbury’s from a week ago and second today’s clear blue . Do you think need to do any further ones? 🥴

They both look like clear positives to me.

ambs245 · 22/09/2020 20:29

Wow congratulations! They both look positive to me! How many days late are you? X

Hi I was week late with Sainsbury’s and 2 with CB xx and thank you.

OP how’s things ? Xxx

TheVanguardSix · 23/09/2020 07:32

For the OP: Sainsbury's tests were (still are?) notorious for their false positives. I've only ever gotten false positives from them. That said, it's been a few years since I've peed on sticks, so maybe the tests have improved.
I'd make it a point of only testing with First Response, especially if you're testing before you're due. Good luck! Flowers

ivfbeenbusy · 23/09/2020 08:04

Clearblue digital with weeks indicator is actually almost as sensitive as a first response in the U.K. (sensitivity of hcg of 10) so can be taken several days before missed period so I'd try one of them

bea179 · 23/09/2020 08:08

Myself and my sister both had 1 faint positive with a Sainsbury's test, even though neither of us were pregnant at the time. And we did the tests months apart.
I know it's supposed to be really uncommon to get a false positive but I really would steer clear of these.

ambs245 · 23/09/2020 18:25

Thanks ladies! So I took a FR today which can detect upto 6 days before missed period and it's negative :( gutted but no period yet.... Will wait until I'm due (on Saturday) to see if it turns up and will test again. Not looking hopeful though. So gutted x

Hi,
I have done two pregnancy tests the Sainsbury’s one and both have come back with a faint line making the + sign. One was more obvious than the other, I have no signs of pregnancy at all. This year I had a missed miscarriage and I knew I was pregnant that time round due to sickness sore boobs but I have nothing now. Is this a faulty test? Should I try a different one? Just wondering has anyone had the same problem recently? Has anyone had this test result and it been accurate? Thank you 🙏🏻

Chloe1996xo · 19/04/2022 07:50

I used Sainsbury’s own for both pregnancies and found them to be reliable. I was a little concerned at first though as I know they have some bad reviews for them on their site!

MapleSyrup2112 · 05/09/2022 21:52

I’ve just used one tonight. What do people think? I thought I had come on and bled for 4 days. 2 days normal period and 2 days I didn’t wear anything cos it was that light. Didn’t think anything of it and today I just had the urge to take a test as I’m all over the place and stroppy and sad! Then got this
